The Big Five safari!
Hwange National Park lies to the west of the country covering over 14 km² and is home to the greatest concentration of animals since 1970. Since its creation as a national park in 1928 more than 60 artificial water points have been created within the park.
Hwange National Park has a hundred species of mammals and 450 different bird species making it one of the best, if not the best, wildlife reserves in the country. The landscapes are exceptional and very varied from Kalahari sand areas to savannah landscapes and salt marshes.
You won't leave without seeing the famous Big Five (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhinocerous) and many other animals such as giraffe, antelope, hyenas, baboons, impala, springbok and zebra.
A 4x4 vehicle will allow you easy and enjoyable access with total independence.
