The valley of granite rocks  

Aboard your motorhome depart from Los Angeles or San Francisco to travel to the famous Yosemite National Park, known for its unique redwood forest and granite rocks. A wonderful journey awaits you!

Yosemite National Park is considered one of the most beautiful parks in the USA. It is full of waterfalls, rivers, lakes, forests, and large granite bolders. Yosemite is easy to reach from San Francisco (160 miles) or Los Angeles (280 miles). Aboard your motorhome you will pass a spectacular view down the valley from Frost Point and Half Dome. Hiking fans will be enchanted with the numerous, beautiful trails through the park. See the giant redwoods at Mariposa Grove and impressive waterfalls at Vernal and Neva Falls. You can also see the biggest rock in the world, El Capitan, at a height of 900 meters, and the highest waterfalls on the continent, Yosemite Falls.

There are 4 main entrances, one of which is closed in the winter period because of the snow. From San Francisco, you can use Big Oak Flat Entrance or Arch Rock Entrance, which is a little further south. If you come from Los Angeles, use the South Entrance. You will have no difficulties finding campsites inside the park and will enjoy a unique experience sleeping in the heart of true nature. You may even come across deer, bears or a lynx.

Not far to the east of Yosemite National Park, about 15 miles, is Mono Lake. Enjoy this beautiful salt lake that formed the surrounding limestone rocks.
