Basic driving rules in Argentina

Driving is always on the right hand side of the road.

You must have your national or international drivers license on you at all times.

All of the occupants of the vehicle must wear a seat-belt, in the front of the vehicle as well as at the back. Child car seats and booster seats must also be used when necessary.

Most of the roads in Argentina are two-way roads. Be careful when overtaking.

Always overtake on the left and leave a good distance before merging back into your lane especially in front of trucks.
