Finland has only 2 seasons: winter and summer. Winter lasts 6 months during which the nights are long and the landscapes are covered with snow. It is an ideal climate for cross-country skiing. Spring hardly exists, summer arrives very quickly. The days get longer and the temperatures rise. It lasts 3 months, from September the temperatures get cooler. In summer, it is pleasant to go and admire the sunsets near the big lakes but you have to protect yourself from mosquitoes!
