Discovering Provence
Between Aix and Avignon, you can easily move around in your motorhome to discover Provence.
Known for the medieval bridge and the Palace of the Popes, Avignon is a city with a warm atmosphere. You can also attend the street theatre festival throughout the city in July.
Generally synonymous with the Doors of Provence, the city of Aix en Provence will welcome you. The studio of the painter Cézanne, which contains the familiar objects of the painter, is a pleasant visit to make with the family. At the bend of the small streets, a tasting of tapenade and Calisson, typical Provencal products is a must.
Going back up into the hinterland, you can visit the typical villages lined with lavender fields and bring back the good smell of Provence as a souvenir.
