Practical advice for the preparation of your trip

CampingCar-Online/Ramble Campervans would like to offer you some practical information to help you better prepare for your motorhome holiday in New Zealand.

The time change

GMT+12

New Zealand operates on a single time zone. There is an 11 hour time difference with France. When it is 10am in Paris, it is 21h00 in Wellington. The country uses the summer/winter time change, with the summer time change starting from the end of September and finishing at the beginning of April.

Electricity

The voltage in New Zealand is 220 volts. The plugs are different from those in France. They have 3 flat branches, one of which is vertical and the other two are slightly inclined.
Think about bringing an adapter to connect your phones or other chargers.

Emergency numbers
