Choose the best time to explore New Zealand according to the weather!

New Zealand is located east of Australia in the southern hemisphere. The seasons are reversed compared to Europe. In summer, from December to February, it is quite warm and sunny with relatively high humidity. The winter is mild, but remains significantly cooler on the South Island where the high humidity increases the cold. The country is very maritime and often windy, with strong winds and heavy rain particularly on the west Coast.

New Zealand is an island in the Pacific Ocean. The sea temperature can reach 20°C on the North Island, where the currents are relatively calm. However in August the water temperature is closer to 14°C.
