Depart from Christchurch and head towards Lake Tekapo. Enjoy the wonderful views of the surrounding Southern Alps. Stop for a picnic at Lake Tekapo and admire the views of Mount Cook. Wake up at the foot of the highest mountain in the southern hemisphere, Auraki-Mount Cook. Put on your hiking boots and follow the trails around Mount Cook. Horse trekking, glacier excurions, biking, skiing, fishing, hunting and walking are all available. Pick your activity and also visit the Glentanner Park.

From Mount Cook head to Queenstown in your motorhome. Nothing is too crazy or extreme in Queenstown, which is surrounded by beautiful views. Try bungee jumping, skydiving or speed boating to experience the most extreme thriils. The Queenstown nightlife Queenstown is also exciting.

Next step - Te Anau. The town of Te Anau lies on the flank of Lake Te Anau and has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. We recommend an excursion to the Te Anau Glowworm Caves. Also, be sure to spend a day exploring Milford Sound by boat for an unforgettable experience of one of the best views on earth.

Afterwards go towards the west coast and enjoy beautiful and varied landscapes along the way. Make a first stop at the Fox Glacier. The Fox and Franz Joseph Glacier can be explored in many ways. For a memorable experience, take a helicopter ride for specutacular views. Next head tothe romantic town of Hokitika. Enjoy long walks on the beach and sunsets. Visit the Jade stone shop and factory to discover how these falous and expensive stones are extracted and cut.

Your next step on your road trip is Kaikoura. Kaikoura is originally a fishing village known for its crayfish fishing and abundance of seafood. It is the ideal place to watch the whales and dolphins on organized cruises.

Your final step in your motorhome is easy. Make sure you stop at the seal colony just outside of Kaikoura for an extraordinary encounter with wild seals. Once in Christchurch, treat yourself to a nice dinner in one of the great restaurants in this city and enjoy visiting the historic city centre.
