The best of western America

Your motorhome road trip in western America

Aboard your rental motorhome in the USA you will be able to sit back and relax while exploring at your own pace without the hassle of packing and unpacking at different accomodations. CampingCar-Online/Ramble Campervans suggests an itinerary to explore western America from Los Angeles to Las Vegas via Salt Lake City.

After exploring Los Angeles, head off in your motorhome towards San Francisco. Enjoy the easy motorhome driving that the American roads offer. San Francisco has many attractions such as spectacular monuments, a cosmopolitan culture, famous Victorian houses and the Golden Bridge. You will find a good campsite at the entrance of the city.

Your next step on this journey is Sacramento, California's capital. Don't miss the Old Sacramento State Historic Park and the California State Railroad Museum. Continue on to Portland and enjoy the beautiful scenery that this city has to offer, especially in Forest Park. You will easily find a campsite in Portland. Next stop is Seattle, surrounded by forests and mountains and home to the famous Smith Tower Obsevation Deck, which offers panoramic views of the city.

Travel on to towards Salt Lake City. The distance between Seattle and Salt Lake City is long and we suggest that you stop halfway to spend the night at a campsite. Once you have reached the town, you can visit the Beehive House and the Family History Library.

Your last step will be Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps! Explore this entertainment city, especially along The Strip, lined almost exclusively with hotels and casinos such as Bellagio and Caesars Palace. You will be able to find campsites nearby. We also suggest a visit to Hoover Dam, one of the largest dams in the world.
