Hyams Beach in Jervis Bay - New South Wales

The whitest sand in the world!

South of Nowra the wonderful wilderness of Australia continues with one white, sandy beach after another, bordered by bush and forest trails. Just 3 hours drive by motorhome from Sydney, Hyams Beach is the ideal place to relax while surrounded by nature. Here you will feel like the only person on Earth!

Hyams Beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world with its fine, white sand and turquoise water. Relax on the beach or enjoy some of the many regional activities. The bay is bordered by Booderee National Park with its rich Aboriginal heritage, spectacular fauna (kangaroos and parrots) and great hiking trails (White Sands Walk between Greenfield and Hyams).

Swimming at Hyams Beach is safe for families and children. You can also go snorkelling, surfing and paragliding. Whale and dolphin watching is also possible, as well as discovering Koori culture in authentic coastal villages with their fresh produce markets. Or hop in your motorhome and explore the bay to find a beach, lagoon or creek off the beaten track!
