Shark Bay - Western Australia

An immense and unique marine ecosystem.

Shark Bay houses one of the richest ecosystems in Australia and one of the largest marine reserves in the world. With a little luck you can see dolphins, turtles, whales and sting rays!

The motorhome is an ideal way to visit and explore this bay which extends over more than 2 million hectres. It is famous for its marine life and particularly its stromatolites (algae colonies), one of the first life forms on Earth. In this region you will also find unspoilt, turquoise lagoons and bays that are well protected and conserved.

You can also visit the Shark Bay Marine Park and see the Monkey Mia dolphins, as well as many other rare sea animals, including 5 endangered species.
